ESNBU welcomes applications for peer reviewers

The ESNBU editorial board will maintain a list with the names and expertise of reviewers who will then be matched to articles as needed.

ESNBU follows a double-blind review process so that author and reviewer will remain anonymous to one another. After evaluating an article, peer reviewers will submit a completed Manuscript Review Form with publishing recommendations to the editorial board. Reviews based on the Peer Review Policy of ESNBU must be completed in 14 days. Our peer reviewers are asked to follow the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers when handling papers for ESNBU.

If you would like to be considered for the ESNBU Reviewers Panel, please submit a short CV and a covering email to indicate your qualifications and subjects you would feel confident about reviewing to Boris Naimushin, Editor in Chief ([email protected]).

Applicants will be notified via email when they are added to the list of ESNBU peer reviewers. Peer reviewers will be contacted as needed and can decline particular assignments whenever a timely completion of a review is not possible.

As a token of appreciation for the valuable services and taking out time to review the manuscripts, ESNBU will acknowledge the reviewers' contribution in the annual statement. Additionally, we encourage our reviewers to register for free with Publons to get credit for their contributions (without breaking reviewer anonymity) in a format they can include in promotion and funding applications.
